The Long bow and gunpowder
The long bow and gunpowder made it easy to break down castle walls and pierce knights armor making them irrelevant.
The decline of feudalism
Growth of trade: Trade was everywhere and the king controlled it giving him more power in getting lots of one thing.
Hundred years war; This war killed many peasants, lords and knights so land went back to the king and peasants could get paid more because there where less of them.
Bubonic Plague: Killed even MORE peasants making able to charge even more for services.
Kings and the church centralized power:Nobles lost power and land so they couldn't employ knights to protect them and peasants to farm.

Black Death Diary
I live in a small trading village along the sea, my name is Bobby Smith. All around me I see my friends dying from this mysterious disease they have giant pimple like thing all over them and quickly parish. My family has been moderately lucky with only my little sister getting sick but she seems like it may be her final day. Luckily my family, peasants, have been able to get paid more but most of the other peasants are dead.
Barter Economy
When lords brought peace and stability peasants could work instead of fight and get goods which allowed people to trade those goods for new ones.
Class Activity
In Class my group had a fairly easy object to trade. It was easy because we found who needed it and traded a lot to them as well as people trading with them. We had no problems with dividing objects but we did do a lot of negotiation making the value of our product pretty high. That resulted in us having a large amount of goods and not having a limited capital.
