My city-stateThe name of my city state would be Kalispell. My city state would be a monarchy with one king or queen ruling at once. In my state punishments for almost anything wouldn't be very severe but not minor. I would choose a monarchy government because you still choose what happens but you can also give people a say when you want to plus no people to say that you can't do something. In my opinion this is the best type of government for a person to rule with.

Athenian Government |
In the year 507 B.C., the Athenian leader Cleisthenes introduced a system of political reforms that he called demokratia, or “rule by the people.” This system was comprised of three separate institutions: the ekklesia, a sovereign governing body that wrote laws and dictated foreign policy; the boule, a council of representatives from the ten Athenian tribes; and the dikasteria, the popular courts in which citizens argued cases before a group of lottery-selected jurors. Although this Athenian democracy would survive for only two centuries, Cleisthenes’ invention was one of ancient Greece’s most enduring contributions to the modern world. Differences between Greek Democracy and Monarchy |
The word democracy derives from the Greek demos which referred to the entire citizen body and although it is Athens which has become associated with the birth of democracy from around 460 BCE, other Greek states did establish a similar political system. In a monarchy Greeks where given a little less freedom to almost no freedom depending on the ruler this also affected the amount of say the greeks had in there government.
